i too am not getting the lines around the edges,its like its pre cut and just moves the whole screen,ape9 for windows xp,any ideas?

hi i got the four or eight point matte but that triangle shaped box is not showing up what did I do wrong?

dont worry about that. i think you might have a different version of premiere elements, but not having those triangular boxes shouldn't effect the use of 4 or 8 point matte. just drag the corners to wherever they should be.

I did a clone effect in one of my videos, but I used crop instead of four point matte. Although it might be easier to use that. Thanks!

i did use the crop tool at one point. however, i believe four or eight point matte just seems easier to use when your dealing with many clones.

make sure that the lighting doesn't change, or the camera doesn't move. this can result with a visible line between each person, because each clip has a slight difference.
it irks me too sometimes.
