On Saturday, May 15, from 10:30 am -- 8:00 pm Griff's Deli is donating 15% of designated proceeds to Community Action's Foster Grandparent Program. Just tell your cashier you are there in support of the Foster Grandparent Program, and part of your bill (minus tax and gratuity) will be donated.

Griff's Deli is located at 1640 Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, just down from the Scottsville Road shopping district and only minutes from downtown Bowling Green and the campus of Western Kentucky University. Griff's serves fresh, made to order deli sandwiches, paninis, salads & mega spuds. Griffs deli was inspired by some of owners Ed & Micha Griffin's favorite deli's across the Southeast. Using Ed's 15 years experience in the restaurant industry & Micha's talent for design the Griffin's created a new & unique dining experience for patrons in and around the Bowling Green area. If you are looking for fresh food made to order with the freshest ingredients. Griffs is sure to satisfy your appetite.

The Foster Grandparent Program serves older adults and children with special needs in schools, Head Start Programs, and other approved facilities. A tax free stipend, transportation assistance, and monthly trainings are provided for volunteers who qualify. The program is part of Community Action of Southern Kentucky, a non-profit agency providing opportunities for individuals and families to be self-reliant throughout the 10-county BRADD area. The program receives an annual grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service. In kind contributions, fundraising activities, and United Way of Southern Kentucky also provide vital support for the program.
