Nobody can have objective moral values, only subjective.

Dr. Craig uses a strawman when talking about naturalism in the second part of this video; he says that naturalism is the view that all things that exist are what our best scientific theories say must exist. Naturalism is actually the view that if anything can be said to exist, it must have evidence in the natural (physical) world. Science is a result of naturalistic thinking, not the basis of it.

Please don't tell the theists that there's no objective morality - can you imagine the chaos! Millions of ex-believers with no innate sense of morality roaming the streets finally knowing the truth about there being no god to tell them right from wrong. Raping and killing etc.
Imaging an unshaven Dr. Craig, stinking of beer, passed out in the gutter.

@PureLiberalFire LMAO! I finally have a reason to rape little children! It gives me so much pleasure and it makes me happy! I'm gonna kill every person I don't like to increase the chances of them not killing me, thus, potentially maybe increasing my own life span! Thanks mother nature for all the moral goodness you've allowed me to do. What your saying, is that it's ok to do something as long as you "feel like it". I mean, did you NOT watch that simpsons movie! lol

@PureLiberalFire You need to look up the definition of objective. Your post clearly has subjective material, for instance; INDIVIDUAL life, INDIVIDUAL pleasure, INDIVIDUAL happiness. That is all under the head of moral subjectivism. Study up on definitions buddy.

@PureLiberalFire Whilst that sounds all flowery and great, it's just your opinion. I don't get how you can say that and not see that it's just a subjective statement of what is objective, you may think that's moral, but some cultures eat their neighbors and others love them - so that's your preference, and what gives you the authority to say they are wrong?

OMG i love the "you guys are idiots and we all know it so at least pretend that his arguments make sense because you too dumb to see its bullshit" pep talk. XD

however the carnal response to the LAw of God is legalism, and this makes men more cruel arrogant and self righteous. THus I have seen christians not being better than unbelivers through believing that God is, but much, MUCH worse than unbelievers.
with only one exception, speaking of people I have known, all the most evil people I have met personaly have been christians. and it was objective morality put as Law that stirred this up, making sin exceeding sinful

I understood with perfect clarity that if there was no God there was no morality. I was 19 and an atheist. I became a nihilist within weeks.
But I would be dead and damned by now, 32 years later, if the Holy Spirit did not apprehend me late one night just before my 20th birthday.
Atheists have morals as they are in the image of God. But they logically deny all basis for them
Morality is based upon Mother Nature and Father Reality (so to speak). It's based upon life, pleasure, and happiness. Anything which increases the quality or quantity of life, pleasure, and happiness is OBJECTIVELY and ABSOLUTELY virtuous and morally good. As far as I can tell, no "god" is needed to create or verify objective moral goodness.
In fact, "god" may get in the way. He might issue a COMMANDMENT to kill the innocent, or hurt our self without cause, or something else objectively evil.

@PureLiberalFire LOL! uh, yeah, Father Reality and Mother Nature are dead. If you think dead entities can give meaning to morality then suit yourself. last I saw God did not go back on His commandments.

I believe in the idea or possibility of a God/higher consciousness/force etc., yet I do not have evidence nor can I prove the existence of a God/higher consciousness/power/force etc. All I have is my perception. I can only hope, but it is not within my capacity to know what it is, only to imagine what it might be.

@hopingtoflyaway But what if you lack all your senses but are still conscious, and you shook someone's hand. You wouldn't know if it was a man or woman, so does that mean you weren't really shaking anybodies hand but just imagining it?

I don't have to prove anything. Everything humans do or say; thoughts, arguments, concepts, conclusions, beliefs, actions, etc. are manifestations of human thought. We cannot step outside of ourselves/brains/minds, we can only imagine or ponder the IDEA of something outside of ourselves. It is blind arrogance to think otherwise.

@hopingtoflyaway So if bird turd happens to plop onto your head then that was your imagination then? What if you didn't see the bird? So, it came about by sheer chance?
