Abandoned school exploration. Formerly the ' Doncaster Municipal High School for Girls ', this building opened in 1911 & built to an ornate design.
Merged with Doncaster grammar school in 1970, it then became part of the college campus & as such, became disused when the college relocated to new premises at the other side of town.
Apparently, its to become a hotel, but is seemingly left to its fate....

    1983 bloody hell

thats when I was born so that school has been closed fo 29 years and no one could do some thing with it?

  • that was my jaw you needed to pick up off the floor! I am speechless! Who allowed this to get this way? Beyond repair - for demolition only should think, if not already gone... haven't lived in Doncaster for twenty years. I'm disgusted.

  • looks like it could be haunted might go there 1 night

  • I was at this school. So sad to see such a lovely building in disrepair.

  • This had to be one of my fave explores. Good vid

  • The building was once the Girls' High School in Watergate, Doncaster. Later it became part of Doncaster Grammar School, which became Hall Cross School about 1983. It was a lovely building to be taught in, with lots of light and an impressive staircase and a replica of the 'Venus de Milo' in the entrance, and wooden painted Honours' boards. It seems very sad to see the building in such a state. Wouldn't you have thought at least the piano could have been given away to someone?

  • @scarymary13 it looks like a cool school 2 explore/ but i bet it feels wierd as u used 2 go there

  • How sad. I was a pupil in this school. Reminds me how transient we all are. It was such a beautiful building and such a good school.
