How can any of you tell how eddie is doing with this crappy sound? This sounds horrible.

I respectfully disagree with you. There have been shows where he's played better than others, but overall, I'd say he wasn't where he was in years past. Whether that's because of getting older, cancer, or whatever, I don't know...good example, check out his playing at the Cabo Wabo opening, or def. the Montreal clips from the 1984 tour... No comparison. but nonetheless, he sounds great on this one.

Based on how Dave wears the same jackets at the same time, at every show, I suspect a DVD is being made of this entire tour. I'd hate to think he just can't be bothered to figure out what to wear when he gets up. :-)

I'll tell ya, Ed wasn't up to form on the dates before the break, but everything I've seen so far on this return show has been spectacular. Hope it continues. God bless Van Halen; they've changed my life.
