According to the Gemological Institute of America, the 218.08-carat diamond is the largest cushion shaped internally flawless, or flawless, D color diamond in the world. In his unveiling speech, Dr. Ho said that the diamond, which is named after him, reflects SJM's timeless commitment to Macau. Even at 85, Stanley Ho is regarded as the king of Macau's entertainment and gaming business -- and he is still very much hands on. However, not all the cards are on the table. As the competition heats up in Macau it remains to be seen who holds the ace of hearts, but chances are this star looks set to shine for a very long time.
