  • Nightmusic...

    Thank you...: ))

  • Must have been the ghost of Gershwin.

  • A remarkable short film clip of George Gershwin playing "Who Could Ask for Anything More". The date of course couldn't have been 1943 since Mr. Gershwin passed away in 1937.

  • He invented the rhythm-changes, what an ingenious coup!

  • Gershwin dead in 1937 !!!!!

  • @carmenefortes Right!!!!! Why does it say 1943?

  • @carmenefortes Right!!!!!

  • Yup, Love Gershwin. Great clip - but the title suggests the film clip is of Gershwin in 1943. George Gershwin actually died on July 11, 1937 of a malignant brain tumor at the young age of 38. Perhaps this clip was filmed prior to his death and released in 1943?
