To answer your question remix1on1.. you do not need to pay these clubs. For example Redbull academy is completely fee free! all you need to do is tryout and see what they tell you.

To bad the clubs that participate in the academy program are expensive.. Very expensive, so talented players that cannot play are not able to showcase their talent. That's American soccer for you.
