Gorgeous mountain views surround Casa Calliandra, our vacation rental home in La Quinta, California. Located near the top of 'La Quinta Cove' and very close to the hiking trails around the perimeter, Casa Calliandrais the perfect getaway for those who seek the sunshine, peace and tranquility of the southern California desert. The only sounds you will hear during the day are birds chirping and doves cooing. Hummingbirds are quite numerous and are attracted to some of the beautiful flowers in our desert landscaped yard. Relax near our private pool and read a good book or go hiking or biking on the numerous nearby trails. Nights in the desert are magical with a beautiful, clear view of the Milky Way Galaxy unhindered by city lights.

Our home is tastefully decorated in a clean, contemporary style with lots of space and a very open floor plan. Weve brought the colors of the desert into our home and integrated them into the furnishings, accents and artwork. Our home is equipped with all the latest amenities for your comfort and convenience. Outdoors, whether youre on the rear patio/barbecue area or relaxing near our pool and spa, you are surrounded by local desert landscaping, the soothing sounds of birds and uninterrupted peace & quiet.

Our home is only 5 minutes from La Quinta Old Town, and just 30 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. You can easily take advantage of the nearby parks and hiking trails, or make a visit to the Living Desert Zoo, Knotts Soak City, Palm Springs Arial Tramway, or golf some of the many golf courses in the area. There are also plenty of casual and fine-dining choices nearby, plus the convenience of a grocery store in Old Town if you choose to cook. Our kitchen is fully-equipped with plenty of cooking gear, gas range, coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave and dishwasher.
