Trailer Gate #5-Eng.mov

Gate #5 is a journey through time and space. It retraces the life story of Najm and other Lebanese truck drivers, from the late 1960s until the present day; a path marked by rural/urban migration, civil war and changes in the economic system. Najm traded his truck for a taxi. Although, his friends never left the port, they still struggle to make ends meet.

الحوض الخامس فيلم يتتبع حياة "نجم" وغيره من سائقي الشاحنات اللبنانيين من أواخر الستينيات إلى يومنا هذا. طريق حياة رسمتها الهجرة من الريف إلى المدينة، الحرب الأهلية، وتغير النسيج الاقتصادي الاجتماعي. فيما استبدل نجم شاحناته بسيارة تاكسي، بقي رفاقه على مرفأ بيروت، يسعون وراء قوت اليوم
