I am assuming there was a skiff of snow overnight or something that required, by some bylaw, that a plow be run, but this makes no sense. I was coming back on RR214 when I saw a plow turn onto our subdivision road. I couldn't figure why, since the roads were basically bare and dry, but nonetheless, there he was.
Our tax dollars at work!
Looks like he was removing the slush from the side of the road before it froze over night. This also provides better run-off for water that may pool and freeze causing slippery conditions. Plus safety for a motorist they may need to move over where the shoulder is when passing a large truck.
And I must add that this driver of the snow plow did a awesome job of maneuvering around the Waste Bin
