I think people have to keep in mind that this was way back in the early 80s when videos were just starting to become a common occurence in the music scene. As for Donnie who has lived his entire life in Pittsburg, I sense he and his friends got together to make these videos and kept things local. I don't think he was aiming for U2 status. Just a local guy making music for anyone who would listen. We need more 'real' downto earth musicians like this today.

Fair enough, glad to see that he had a fair deal of success in the US. Did not hear much of him here in Canada but I was still in elementary school in the early 80s.

@Delisle4 People all around the country know/or at least knew his music. There were minor national hits. They must have been heavy promotion to do that, I'm sure Donnie didn't want to just "stay local".
