I'm searching for you, I suffer much without you, I call you, if you don't come I will die, the spring, what a pity, never get back again. But why destiny parted you from me I don't know but i will want you always happy here with me for never letting you more. When in remembrance of your face I dream sighing heaven. I forget the sadness of life, dear I'll love you sweetly. Maybe the dawning of your rising for me will bring the hope in my heart, which always want you near...
"Il mio domani", composed by Chet Baker, was released in 1962 as a B side to the RCA 45 single "Motivo su raggio di luna", also composed by Chet Baker, as RCA PM 45-3080, in mono. The tracks were recorded in Rome, Italy during the Chet is Back! sessions and appeared as bonus tracks when that album was released on CD by RCA. Ennio Morricone is the arranger and conductor on the sessions. Chet Baker plays trumpet and sings in Italian on both tracks.
