Songs like this sometimes make me wonder why King Crimson ever bothered with vocals (except on their debut of course).

I hope the jazz musician who invented the Chapman Stick has had opportunity to hear Tony Levin's intro to this tune--talk about validation....
This tune makes one feel powerful and alive--
Some mainstream rock is just as exhilarating, like the Pretenders' "Precious," i.e., or the Beatles' "Revolution,"--so why isn't KC more of a mainstream success?
They sure deserve to be.
They're as great as just about anyone--

@StarlessL5 You can read "Sartori" in the album's cover.
From Wikipedia: ""Sartori [sic] in Tangier" also derives its title from beat influences including the Jack Kerouac novel Satori in Paris, and the city of Tangier in Morocco, where a number of beat writers resided and which they often used as a setting for their writing. The song was first released as a b-side to the Heartbeat 12" single in 1982.

@MrCbud420 Tangier Morocco, a popular getaway for some of the beat writers in the 50s.
