Lechi Kurbanov gets Knocked OUT

2005 Silver Medal winner of Weight World Championship in Karate Kyokushin (Superheavyweight division) Lechi Kurbanov was viciously knocked out by Ilia Karpenko (another member of russian team) in a recent open world tournament (no weight divisions) in Karate Kyokushin in nov 17th 2007 in Japan.

@MSAlex23 K. Down is when the fighter falls on the ground but stands up and continue fighting. K.O. (Ipon in Kyokushin) is when the fighter cannot continue fighting because of taking a too hard punch, kick or losing consciousness. Sorry for bad english

for some lame reasons the IKO doesnt let its members fight in professional payfights. A lot of the old fighters got banned out of the IKO for this reason. Like Andi Hug was originally from kyokushin then went Seidokaikan n eventually K1.

That mongolian K1 max fighter was originally from IKO and got in trouble after the IKO found out.

I think Kurbanov loves Kyokushin karate too much, thats y he dont participate in paid fights unless he get permission from the IKO Honbu. Love 4 the Art vs Money
