Showing you my surgical incision on post op day 11 from spinal fusion at L5-S1. It's doing really well, with no pain , redness , swelling or drainage.

  • Looks a lot better than I thought. Im having the same op done on Monday 10th Jan 2011. Not looking forward to it really, but it needs to be done.

  • @TomHart666 Thanks for the comment. It was for sure a lot better than what I imagined! It has really given me my life back. Hang in there, it gets better!

  • Hi

How r you feeling today? I had surgery almost a year ago and still have bad days.. Cath

  • I HAD BACK SURGERY IN 2009 AND I HURT MORE NOW THAN I DID BEFORE THE SURGERY

  • I have lost all movement from my hips down, and have had absolutely no pain anywhere except the bruises I get from falling. I am in AFOs and soon to be KAFOs. But, my neuro ordered a Lumbar MRI and we magically found an extremely large, severe herniation in my L5. It was a crazy find and I am going under in a few days. I never knew it was there and I have been doing martial arts for 11 years. I am 18.

  • thanks for posting this! Im getting soo nervous about my first surgery on may 17th im also getting a lumbar fusion on 2 levels. I hope the bast for you and the pain goes away for ever! I pray for everyone out there that has to experience the pain of a spinal injury it's the most painfull thing I have ever experienced :( And all happened from working as a cna!

  • i have Lumbar spinal Stenosis ,Sciatica,Psuedoclaudication, RadiculAr pain, degenerative disc disease, cluster headaches, photophobia da list goes on I use all natural Herbs that cure more than 86% of my symptoms I suffer from over 30 different symptoms dont be the last 2 find out about this herb 420

  • Had a look at my wound yesterday. I'm 8 days post op and apart from all the bruising and some bloody stitches it looks alright. I have two cuts in my back though from where they took the graft from. Still in a lot of pain, but it's getting better bit by bit.

  • wow. I hope your doing great. I jsut had mine done of may last year and im still recovering although I did have 2 major hernias done just b4 the back. I sneaked a camera in the place and filmed myself all the way til the anythesilogist caught me with it just before he knocked me out. Its awsome. I havent posted it yet but if you respond to this I will.
