I missed running into you by 2 days. I had my truck on me so I was abel to beat the train to Gold Hill and other areas. One thing I did not do which I would have liked to have done is fallow the 4:00PM train (last train of the day) as it went down the new extension track. It was not to windy for me when I was up there, the only issue I had is a car that was loaded with junk that drove infront of my camera and kind of blew my shot as the train was comeing. The rest of my shots turned out good.

When was this vid shot? I was up in Virginia City on August 17, 2008 doing shots of the steam train at nearly the same locations that were in this vid. I have my vids on my youtube account. BTW: Nice vid.

Coast: We were up there on the 20th. Sorry for the duplication. I really wanted to get down to the Gold Hill crossing, but the timing of the train and what we needed to do didn't fit. Besides, I was on a bike loaded with gear and was afraid of missing it altogether. We had wind problems up there too, as you will see when the American Flat vid. gets up.
