The Nike Academy Launches

Theyre some of the best non-professional players in the country. And last week, the very first members officially began their Nike Academy training.

Representatives from Nike and the Premier League welcomed the players. Then it was down to Academy Director Huw Jennings to explain exactly what he expects from them.

Former England striker Teddy Sherringham added some personal insights on what it takes to make it at the top level.

All the players signed official contracts, collected personalised Nike kit and met the teammates theyll be training alongside as they all prepare for a shot as a professional player.

Next its off to Man Utds Carrington training ground for pre-season. Its a great chance for the team to benefit from truly world-class training facilities and hit the ground running.

yes or course. i have 7 nephews and im goin 2 train them all. out of those 7 at least 1, hopefully, would really love soccer and i would help him and teach him everythin i kno so that he can go far and that would make me feel good, it would ease the pain. i fucked up cuz life got hard and i started partying and drinking a lot. wats ur excuse?
