The Sluggos is the name of a rock band from Wichita, Kansas, Air Capital of the World.

Members: Wayne Gottstine (Scroat Belly, Split Lip Rayfield), Michael Carmody (Sunshine Family, Carganza), Mitch Clay (Scroat Belly, Knight) and Doug Van Es (Pocket Weasels, Monterey Jack).

This is a rough mix of one song from their album in progress, engineered and recorded by Tom Page and Albert Alfonso. The as-yet-untitled album is due out in late 2006.

  • Uh, where's the Barracuda? That's a '68 Road Runner...

  • The video isn't a literal interpretation or anything...just an old public service film about the dangers of joyriding, edited down to length. Wayne wrote the song about his old '68 Barracuda, also referencing my '66 Dart in the lyrics; pictures of both actual cars are in the booklet inside the "Songs About Girls" CD.
