  • The three alleluias at the end of this arrangement is an optional "coda" ending. It breaks up into 7 or 8 parts and we did not have the resources to do it!

  • We always sing this Alleluia version during Easter. However, last Sunday we sang this again and I was like "This sounds so familiar, what is it?" Then I was like "Oh yeah, this is the Easter Alleluia, but why are we singing it now?" We usually sing the normal Alleluia during Ordinary Time.

  • Greetings! You can basically sing any Alleluia at any time of the year. We often use this Alleluia for festive Masses throughout the year. It's a great piece of music!

  • Yes, we skip the final section. Our choir is too small to divide into 8 parts!

  • The Festival Alleluia and Celtic are my favorites.Wish i could convince my pastor to use some of the Chepponis settings for mass.Pity.The Melodic gloria is fantastic.Anxiously awaiting the revised versions of the mass settings for use with the upcoming changes in the mass.Think i ordered 15 different ones from gia. Will have a year to prepare,so by the time Nov 2011 rolls around they should come like 2nd nature to my wife. She's a cantor and i'm a lector/aspiring organist(home).God Bless you all!

  • yeah that would be kind of hard to do.

  • NICE job Johnny . Stephanie is a GREAT organist. on another video of this song I heard 3 allelujia's to close out the song, were these skipped in this version?
