  • very interesting, but how can you access to the board from your computer?

whats the different between "normal" Mikrocontrollers (AVRs) to linux-embedded-controllers?

    thx

  • You can access it via a terminal (directly through USB) and also with network services like telnet and even SSH. Did'nt I show that on this video? ;)

The difference is that MCUs that can support Linux must be powerful enough. A simple AVR is not capable of running Linux.

  • Have you wrote the code?

  • What kind of Linux does it run? ucLinux?

  • What program have you used to get into it? Can't be minicom since it doesn't have color.

  • halt:no

    lol

  • Where can you obtain this in the USA?

  • Hi and thanks for showing me a working Grasshopper. I recently purchased a Grasshopper, and I must say I was stunned at the total absence of documentation - not even quick start instructions! The support CD has a bunch of files and that is all. Is there a place where beginners can find "how to" information? All I want to do initially is get a Linux prompt, but ... no instructions ... even for that!
