Hi and thanks for showing me a working Grasshopper. I recently purchased a Grasshopper, and I must say I was stunned at the total absence of documentation - not even quick start instructions! The support CD has a bunch of files and that is all. Is there a place where beginners can find "how to" information? All I want to do initially is get a Linux prompt, but ... no instructions ... even for that!

very interesting, but how can you access to the board from your computer?
whats the different between "normal" Mikrocontrollers (AVRs) to linux-embedded-controllers?
thx

You can access it via a terminal (directly through USB) and also with network services like telnet and even SSH. Did'nt I show that on this video? ;)
The difference is that MCUs that can support Linux must be powerful enough. A simple AVR is not capable of running Linux.
