Blood pudding is very uncommon here in North America. I, however, am fortunate enough to come from Newfoundland (a Canadian province of predominantly Irish decent). Blood pudding is popular enough here that it is found in most grocery stores. My father had me eating blood pudding at a very young age and, thanks to him, it is today, probably my favorite food ever. There is no better meal than a hardy breakfast consisting of blood pudding, homemade toast, egg, bologna, bacon, ham and tea.
