this is nothing but a doll head and a sponge

great job! you make it seem so simple, but i was just wondering if you know how to get a matt effect for the face? because i find the shine just makes blythes look unrealistic :)

@donna71rottie "3M™ Softback Sanding Sponge" is the most common used you've several gradations depending on how much you've to sand and how hard
-
The name of the brand of sponge used would be helpful?!

Wow! this video surely gives me enough confidence to try it myself, I never had one and I wasn't sure to try it, but I really hate the shiny oily effect of plastic on skin =P. Thanks for showing and I'm inmune to the sound mwahahha

is this the same 'magic sponge' I use to clean with? Can anyone tell me what tools I need to purchase for customization? I want to carve lips, matte the skin an seal it, paint lips and apply makeup, etc. I know how to do the eyes and will not be changing hair. Any referrals will be appreciated, Especially on the tool best for carving lips and how to do it. Thanks.
