Oh come on, giving a kid an energy drink won't kill him. It won't be perfect for his body but neither is drinking a fat load of fizzy drinks. The thing is, like any drug it's going to affect some people more than others. If this kid is badly affected by it then simple answer: Don't give him the drink. I bet a fat load of other kids would be fine. Also worth mentioning, kids tend to exadurate affects on their body just because they're unsure of how much is actual reaction and how much isexpected.
