  • No, u4+u6 come in as a complex.. with U6's active regions being base paired with u4. Then for the formation of B* complex, U4 leave and u6 pairs with its acagag box near the 5' SS while u4 leave (also u1 leaves. The active site is formed by u2, u6 and u5 is also present.
