Honey & The Bees - (You Better) Go Now

Honey & the Bees--- Well these girls were just wonderful. One of the first groups to define the Philly Soul Sound. This record from '68 got a huge amount of play in my hometown, Pittsburgh. A late night radio classic, I still hear this played to this day. Nadine Felder and the girls were sassy, brash, and sweet at the same time. Pookie loves this one, and I hope you enjoy it too. Dedicated to the memory of R.D. Summers, one of the Classic Pittsburgh Sound DJ's who we sadly lost this past week. I was fortunate enough to have worked with him, and he was nothing short of Class. RIP 'Rinky Dink'.

i must have listen to this song about 20 times(lost count)in the last 2days. can't help it i just love that Philly sound.Andyou gotto remember that female groups were not highlighted as were the male groups (O'jays;delfonics;stlistics,et­c)during the 70s

when the philly sound was at it's peak.
