I too, certainly remember this sketch, the first time was in 1974, when I was five, when I remember seeing it the first time. I was so impressed,at the end, with the audience giving Maria "tit for tat", that as they threw pies at her, I counted in crazy numerical disorder,like "100,1,000,1,000,000,etc.". Just now,I added it to my favorites list;I have over a dozen favorites, so far. By the way, wasn't there also a sketch,featuring David and Maria marrying, teaching circles?
