Bassani Vs, MagnaFlow Magnapack on a 2000 Mustang GT

I bought the car with a Bassani Stainless Catback already installed... problem was it was installed WRONG! The Exhaust pipes hit the rear sway bar at even the smallest of bumps! It was deemed more expensive to fix than practicall, so I got a deal on a new MagnaFlow Magnapack stainless exaust, after a full day trying to get it to fit I took it to Las Vegas Street Rod Repair... or Best Muffler Shop... which ever one they want to call themselves... anyways it is the old Las Vegas Street Rod's, you want something done right you take it there!! I guess "bolt up" dosent really mean it will "bolt up" because after a full days work of tryin to install the MagnaFlow I was told there was no way I would get it installed without some cutting and welding.... well I guess he was right because after cutting and welding the exhaust fits perfect! Here is a video showing the difference in sound between Bassani and MagnaFlow Magnapack!!

I couldn't fin the vid you mentioned. I just don't like the flat spitting/popping type sound from glasspacks. I like the airy, metallic sound from a chambered muffler.

I got magnapacks and a x pipe on my 02 and get compliments all the time on the sound, the bassani is way over priced and doesn't even sound agressive, personally the most badass sounding mustang I've ever heard is my friends 99 GT with just muffler deletes, cost next to nothing too

I agree,the magnapacks have a unique sound like no other,kinda reminds me of an old school muscle car,if you add headders,and a high flow catted pipe.I use to have cherry bombs until I listenend to this guy's car,check it out it is (4511point21) the black mustang with silver stripes,he's got long tube header's and off road x pipe with magnapacks

@al9a3qa I have Magnapacks on my 00' GT and I would rate the volume at about 8 1/2. That is with the stock H-pipe. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't even consider another exhaust model. The Magnapacks have a sound that no video can fully do justice. The start-up is insane, and the idle is just plain beefy. Under full accel, you can't ask for a better sound.

sup there , on the scale of 1-10 how loud is the magna packs, do they sound good and not that too much of raspy i mean in real not in vids ? , well am planing to get one of those either the magna pack or SLP LM2, any advice ???

i have MAC exhaust, so im not just saying this but the magnapack is a better product with a way way better price!
