I am so sad Maneater that you feel so cynical towards this performance, It was a little girl so full of joy and welcoming to the world it is so sad not to respond and be open. Even today many years after the 2000 Olympics we still love the wonderful people we welcomed to our country and the fun we had. Nicky is a women today but will always be remembered as the lovely young girl who opened our Sydney Olympics.

Metube877 - She's lip syncing - so how can u say this was "NOT well sung?" - it's a recording!!
In any case she sounds like a young Michael Jackson , even the feel/vibe of the song is very early MJ.

i remeber this like it was yesterday. if we host another olympics, i very much doubt the ceremonies would be as good or better than this. hope im wrong though.
