In this video, New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assemblyman John Burzichelli, both D-Gloucester, and Gloucester County Freeholder Director Bob Damminger, speak about legislation which would require the operator of the Eagle Point refinery in West Deptford to apply savings they've received from property tax appeals to help clean up the site. The current operator, Sunoco, has announced plans to shut down the refinery, but refuses to pay for environmental clean-up of the land.
