Audition for Thousand Foot Krutch - Welcome to the Masquerade

This is my audition to be the next guitarist for Thousand Foot Krutch. For those wondering, yes, I am VERY serious about wanting to play full time for them. I consider this a huge opportunity, and it would be a dream come true to earn the privilege to play music every day for a living.

The guitar is a Dean Hardtail Select. I switched out the stock bridge pickup for a Dimarzio Super Distortion. I play through a Randall RM100 head going into a Mesa Boogie 2x12 cabinet. The Randall's modules are the Blackface for my clean channel, the Ultra for my main distortion channel, and the Ultra XL for my solo channel. The amp is mic'd with a Shure SM57 dynamic microphone and a ribbon mic the my friend owns.

I didn't even know about this. You would be awesome for TFK! So did they cancel this? I'm just wondering because I have no clue in the news for Thousand Foot Krutch. Well you got my vote for anything that comes your way. You deserve it. I guess I have to watch more of your recent uploads since the last time I watched your videos.

@sevendust4556 Yeah, it turns out Ty Dietzler is no longer leaving the band. But thanks for the support! And don't worry, I've got a couple of projects I'm working on right now that I'm excited for, and I wouldn't be able to if I was busy with TFK. But that's all I'm gonna say for now!

Dang man I was just about to pop in here and say if they hook you up with a mesa stack I want your randall lol, but then I read about them announcing about their guitarist. Sucks man I think they missed out on a great musician.

congrats dude, i've been watching your videos for over a year now and its good to know people are recognizing good musicians when they see one. I'm actually meeting Sevendust on May 15th at our St. Louis, MO Pointfest Concert and i really wanna tell them to check out your complete covers. best of luck and hope you get the gig, TFK is a great opportunity.

@citiracer17 Thanks for the support man. However TFK just announced that their guitarist has decided to stay with the band, so they won't be looking for a new guitarist anymore. But have a great time at the 7Dust show though!

just be wary of ur strummin man, it slows down just a tad. otherwise excellent. u got my vote man.
