Ashton's character was really wicked, but somehow she made me pity her here. One thing that has been bothering me about the scene with Drummond was when she was removing her layers of petticoats. One underskirts had snaps on them, I think, allowing Ashton to pull the sides apart so she could lower then skirt. As far as I know, snaps hadn't been invented yet.
