no actually i'm about to be 21, and if anyone's being prepubescent it's you!! you may have been stating your opinion but you did so rudely, nd from what i'm seeing,most of the ppl here agree with me! yeah she may just be a "pop singer" doing a cover but i'm pretty certain that white stripes have many a cover in their career, which by your reasoning means those songs have too lost all their depth and meaning. so back off!

A cover doesnt mean the song has lost it's meaning/depth, however you'd like to put it. It's how it's presented. Clearly you've missed my point. You say I'm being rude, but I'm not. I'm saying i dislike the cover, & that I think she shouldn't have done the cover. I'm not the one saying she's a fat arse. Go yell at those people, they are the one's being rude. Maybe if you use enough exclamation points they will believe you're almost 21.

@IrelandPunk I think Kelly blew this one out of the box. I love WS's version but how on earth does it defeats the purpose when it's a cover? The purpose of a cover is to put your own mark to the song. And believe me, not everyone can do that. Certainly not as well as Clarkson.

Besides some covers, believe it or not, are better than the original. (Not referring to this video or anything.)

explain to me why it is, that i can say i dislike this, but still say she is not a bad singer, but others are on here saying she's a fat ass and no one is bothering to say anything to those people?

and i work for Road Runner Records, I see enough bands that do covers to know that they can be good.

And Roadrunner Records? The heavy metal record label? Wow, impressive. I'm actually really interested in the music industry. What division are you in?

I'm in the Road Crew Devision (there are office, road crew, street team, and internet and others im sure). I work show's and make sure swag is being passed out properly and that the posters are on display properly at shows, and then i get to have some one on one time with the bands to see what they do and dont like (most about RRR) and then just general hang time

@IrelandPunk Interesting. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your foot into the industry? Like, academically.

Well I go to loads of concerts every year, and a lot of the bands I like are on the RRR label. I would talk to the bands, and some how manage to get myself backstage and what not, and then i started talking the people from RRR that were working the shows. One of the 'upper' people from RRR remembered me after a while and told me to apply for Road Crew, and he'd put in a good word. I filled out a huge application and sent it in, and about a month later, I was welcomed on to the team.

maybe shes a fan. but im not deaf (imo :D) and i tell ya: the spirit of the song seven nation army is like minimal techno: JUST THE THINGS THAT ARE NEEDED TO RECOGNIZE ANY MELODY you know why jack used a bass pedal and no bass player? because its MEANT to be minimal...white stripes are minimal rock :D
