Aerosmith - Wham Bam (cover)

Wham Bam is an Aerosmith outtake or demo from the Get a Grip album originally written by Tyler and Perry with the help of Richi Supa.

This is a special version of "Wham Bam" as its a cover by peruvian fan Gonzalo Collarte a.k.a. "Gonzaloc!". This demo was recorded using Sonar 7 using only a home pc, 1 cheap Peavy electric guitar, 1 electro acoustic guitar, 1 $40 microphone and a keyboard. All the instruments in this demo were performed by Gonzaloc during 2008 and january 2009. Demo recorded, edited, tracks programed and mixed by Gonzalo Collarte. This version was builted with taking as source the live version of the song, the studio samples, full online lyrics of the song and personal Aerosmith taste. It was played only one known time, in the 05-08-1994 at the Marcus Amphitheater Milwaukee, WI show. Just listening to the lyrics you can notice that Steven didn't recall all the lyrics right, comparing them with the one in www.rockthisway.de (or the old www.aerosmith.com) it is almost the same, but Steven always changes some lyrics live.

Wham Bam was kicked off the album after it was dropped after the A&M attempt in 1992, as it was played live in 1994 its belived to have been consideres for Big Ones.

More recently its been confirmed in 2006 that the song had been re-worked and considered for the new album. Its yet to be seen if it will make it to the new album.

You know whats really sad? Old Aerosmith outtakes are better than contemporary mainstream music.

thanks for the coment, ya im recording my own songs now, i just went thoug a period of "needin" to cover all of this songs i knew how they sounded, so i did my best covering them, glad u liked it
