For the final "Your Money" segment of the semester, we decided to have a bit of fun - my reporter calculated that it would cost approximately $87,000 to recreate all 12 days in modern times. So I put together a fun re-creation of the classic carol, using footage from previous newscasts, some new shots, and some goofy graphics.
In case it's been too long since last Christmas, the lyrics are as follows:
12 drummers drumming
11 pipers piping
10 lords a-leaping
9 ladies dancing
8 maids a-milking
7 swans a-swimming
6 geese a-laying
5 golden rings
4 calling birds
3 french hens
2 turtle doves
...and a partridge in a pear tree!
Thanks to Bob for audio help (because lord knows I need it), and our mascot Reggie the Redbird for being the climactic partridge. And don't lie, those French hens and turtle doves are about the most awesome thing EVER :)
