@BirsaGomorraBeach I agree. My dad was a bassist in a band for 12 years and he was playing around with the minimoog in the early 70's. Everybody was dying to get their hands on these things. People like Brian Eno and David Bowie were just the guys up on stage, not including all the skilled technicians trained in computer science and analogue circuitry who were more qualified to operate these instruments. No one group of musicians started it all. It was a gradual evolution of applied science.

youtube is god. i had watched this documentary couple of years back when i didn't know much about synth, and now that i'm digging quite a bit on synthesis I recalled this part of the docu and wanted to watch it on youtube, so i just searched david gilmore synth and here I am hehe.
