I have been accepted into Hampton's School of Pharmacy, and I have also heard A LOT of negative things about Hampton as far as financial aide, administration, and student life. I just graduated from an HBCU, and I was really hoping Hampton would be different since its further up north from Alabama. This video helped a lot because it's the only positive input I have received thus far in my decision.

all i can do is reiterate my last point.

"a school's reputation is pretty subjective... everyone has a different opinion based on their major.. but as an Architect, Hampton is the reason i work for Disneyland architecture in CA now.. i owe HU a lot... of course it has drawbacks as all schools do.. but you'll get out of it what you put into it"..... so dont let the negativity get you down!

That's interesting... i guess a school's reputation is pretty subjective... everyone has a different opinion based on their major.. but as an Architect, Hampton is the reason i work for Disneyland architecture in CA now.. i owe HU a lot... of course it hasdrawbacks as all schools do.. but you'll get out of it what you put into it..

DID YOU KNOW THAT HALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE SCHOOL ARE HIDING THE FACT THAT ASBESTOS IS RUNNING RAMPANT THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL? THAT MANY STUDENTS ARE SUFFERING FROM LUNG DISEASE THANKS TO GOOD OL' HARVEY AND HIS COAL HEATING SYSTEM, OR THE UNSANITARY WATER THAT THE STUDENTS DRINK? HAMPTON IS THE AUSCHWITZ OF HBCUS.

As a proud Hampton Alum & now employee of Hampton, I say "kudos" on a job well done! This is a great video. Thanks for sharing part of the Hampton experience with those that may not be as aware of the great things at our "home by the sea"... Congrats on graduation!! :-)
