Mario Kart Wii - Dec 4 09 A

Here's a bit more Mario Kart Wii. I hear of people constantly running into rooms full of people whose VRs are in the nine-thousands. It doesn't really happen to me. Since I often get put into rooms with people whose VRs are lower than mine, I have that much of a tougher act to keep if I am to maintain my VR. But I disgress. VRs are worthless. But I still wonder why I get put into rooms like these all the time when other people might really want them.

Race #1
DS Peach Gardens
I had quite a comfortable lead until about halfway through the second lap, when I got attacked by a Green Shell. I had a near-miss with a subsequent Item Box and then another near-miss with someone who had a Mega Mushroom activated. People kept trying to attack me for the rest of the race. Man, these guys are out for my blood.

Race #2
GCN DK Mountain
I wanted to show this in that I don't use the shortcut in any of the three laps. The reason for this is that no one else used the shortcut, and in all three laps, I was comfortably ar enough ahead that usig the shortcut was not necessary. Why take an unnecessary risk? (I'm sure there'd be people who would argue that there's not much risk at all, if any, but I say the safest alternative, if not the fastest, is taking the intended route.)

Race #3
Moo Moo Meadows
That was some pretty erratic lag with that Yoshi on the first lap. Otherwise, this race is pretty normal. What I've noticed is that races on Moo Moo Meadows can get quite intense if you have a lot of racers with comparable skill.

Blue Spiky Shells.. ugh. I've only avoided them once or twice. (Both in maple treeway by accident with mushrooms people lose lol) But anyway, nice racing! I use automatic too =)

Thanks. You can also lose Blue Shells in cannons but that's more of a luck-based thing than anything you can really plan for.

Yeah, so apperantly im unlucky. They usually hit me right after i get out of the cannon. lol anyway, btw, this video really made me go and play MKW. =)

I do know how to drift and use mini-turbos. I just choose not to.

They're out for my blood even when I do use Manual. I'm far more vulnerable during then. This is evident in many, if not most, of my earlier Mario Kart Wii videos.
