IDK because he's new on the scene Derek Roddy gets less respect. But I'll bet you at the rate he's learning Roddy will be at this level in a few years easy.

He makes it So Friggin Good with only a small set, Some people use a friggin huge set and still cant make it sound nice.

I think when you consider the fact that John did not have a huge drum kit to work with -- not by today's outlandish standards set ala Neil Peart and Alex Van Halen, John a a formidable force, an F5 tornado of sheer, raw power, who played based on what he felt versus what he thought in terms of the technical aspects.

ridiculous statement. Bonham could EASILY have owned any jazz drummer...western african syncopation is the EASIEST time-measured beat to play on drums. Stop with the elitist BS it just makes you look stupid to people who know Bonham was a genius.
