I just read an article about the lead singer Les Mckeown he said he's been living a secret Gay life for over 30 years. Nothing against that, but he kept it from his wife & son & they found out when he did a TV interview. That had to be hard for them.

Ever notice that every TV appearance they've played this song at, it sounded exactly the same. Always lip synced and played to the studio recording. Shame they cheated everyone that way.
Oops , wait, I do remember seeing them play it live once and THAT was a good one.

The first time I heard this song was in 1974.
I was fingering my guide leader round the back of the Guide hall and this was playing in the disco.
Every time I hear it, I think back to those fishy days of innocence.
