Form is more important for any exercise than the exercise itself. So be sure you use proper form for all exercises. Breathing is very important as well. Be sure to always exhale as the main work for each exercise is being done.

Follow these important steps:
-Go at a controlled pace, if anything, it's more beneficial to go on the slow side
-Contract your lower back and butt at the top
-Hold at top for a second before slowly returning upper body and legs to the ground
Be sure to eat healthy, add cardio and variety to your workouts.
