I’m not an Indian nor I speak the languish (watch with CC/Subs), I’m a Laotian who came to US when I was only thirteen, which is about 31 yrs ago but happen to love Hindi films and musics. To me, music is an international languish, it’s for everyone who appreciates the beauty of the art/entertainment.
@Scarface9118 and islamic references are probably used more often because urdu is the language famous for its roots in poetry and songs and all you know. so muslim holy things fit bette with that style of poetry that this song is written in. i think those are logical/fair reasons. no need to be upset, just enjoy the song like you said you would :) don't let a minor thing like that ruin it for u!
@Scarface9118 maybe his character is muslim in the movie...? idk. but u know what, it's really not that big of a deal. in fact, if it makes you feel better, many muslims don't appreciate their religious rites being reduced to references for love in songs and poetry. i know one of my muslim friends told me that "sadja" is supposed to be the most holy form of prayer/devotion meant only for God and songs kind of reduce its meaning by throwing words around like this. but it's ok don't worry about it
