This edition of Hot Stuff goes to Moms Bar on the corner of 30th Avenue and 4th Street in downtown Playa del Carmen. Moms Hotel has been operating at this location for many years and the bar/restaurant has been opened and closed by different proprietors. The new proprietor, Jurgen, is a friendly, delightful man, who once had a job carving coconuts in Belize, or so he tells me. Under Jurgens management Moms is back, better than ever and rocking!

MCT has decided that the unique concept of homestyle cooking with a different blue plate special every day rates as Hot Stuff.
