Keith Floyd Knew how to present and market himself and his product.People who had no interest in cooking or traveling were fascinated by him.What a life he lead! We should all raise a glass to Keith Floyd. Here's to you Keith!

The best food presenter and inspirational cook I have ever seen. I remember seeing him cooking pork on my TV back in 1986 and I was riveted. I never would have watched TV cookery. He is unrivaled and a man who genuinely knew food and how to enjoy it. Tony Bourdain is the man who comes close but not close enough. Floyd was a one off - brilliant and fun. There won't be another. A raw and brilliant diamond of a human being who wore his faults on his sleeve & all the more appealing for that.

No one desrves to die unless they are a cychopathic killer or worse. Floyd didn't deserve to die, alright he smoked to many fags and drank to many bottles, but it was what he wanted. Nobodies perfect, nobodies 100% like yourself. You have nothing to hate him for his programes were to inspire you enlighten you of what fun you can do with food. You have no reason to hope he died. DONT say such things like that unless you have a VERY good reason.

That guy had no ego! Never afraid to admit his limitation! No one knew him probably on here but that man seemed like a lovely guy who you could have a great laugh with? No need to say he deserves to die it's like saying you deserve to die having a few too many beers one night?

He was such a wonderful character, very inspirational as he was passionate about what he did, and not at all pretentious as some of the more "classy" tv chefs/cooks. And -at least on camera- he didn't resort to abusing folks around him. RIP.

Kieth floyd was a talented cook, he made cooking fun and interesting. I found his programes funny, entertaining and I also learnt alot from his cooking. And ill always hold a glass upto floyd and have a slurp, cheers.
