  • Yes I know, Terry and Earl, and heres a name you might recall Tony Millar. he's been down to me on several times recently. he's got a good section of crossover sounds these days and has more than a working knowledge of the scene's music you can get to Tony via Facebook if you want he's on there anyway good luck down there in kiwi land regards Pat Allen

  • @soulsender1 I came to Burnley for the Soul, Scootering and of course the super clarets, [got all the tatts], I'm sure we would have met as I'v been to alot of soul dos over the years with the likes of Earl Waddington, Alan Parry, Terry Burns and loads of others.

  • @B8sy1 I know settle and its a quiet place but I can see why you cme to Burnley, I started way back when before time began, in 1964 as one of the original mods and we were the bee's Knee's in those days, thats how I got into the soul scene with the old Stax Atlantic label stuff then graduated to the northern scen and in due course running a few clubs locally one famous club was The Bankhall Miners here in town stared in 1983 and it ran for nearly ten years I try to keep my hand in Pat Allen

  • @soulsender1 I started scootering in my hometown of settle in 1980 and moved down burnley in 1983, joining b.p.s.c. in 2003 i moved to new zealand and now ride a 1963 tv175 customised on the northern soul theme.

    k.t.f.

  • @B8syAnd you're very welcome, lad. I meant every word of it being an old Mecca fan, and one of the original mods in Burnley, I still miss my SX 200 it was a real cracker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hello from The Burnley & Pendle Soul Club.(ex Bankhall Miners Promoter) cheers Pat Allen
