There were no slave messages sent to Davis at his death. This was made up fucking nonsense. Just like most of the Bullshit the South has lied about.

We don't have any slave testimony that Davis tortured any of his slaves personally, ilke Lee did. But that is probably because Davis slaves were in the Deep South -- and didn't get to fucking write about it.
