  • How can he know a book is dreadful if he hasn't read it. But, maybe I didn't hear him correctly.

  • @PatzerKing That was the point of the anecdote. To point out how people critisise and praise the book without having read it. Or at the very least understood it.

  • the audio quality is horrible, and hayak has an accent that makes it tough to understand what he is saying, i think adding subtitles to this video would be an excellent idea, if you have the original footage and have the ability to add subtitles please consider doing it

  • @mattgeb84 Subtitles ready.

  • @Malthus0 ty for subtitiles

  • ugh the audio on this is horrible, you can barely understand what they are saying

  • @austenbosten Same thing with me man. I use to laugh at Hayek and other libertarians similar to him but now I've grown to admire Hayek in particular.

  • Youtube was made for these videos - what a gift!

  • I think life is pretty simple. Socialism in its extreme form can't work. Just like free market capitalism can't work in its extreme form. What people really want is a good life with the motivation to go to work. Doing it just for profit or for squat isn't motivating.

  • @Malthus0 That is precisely the point of his comment. I watched it twice and I could understand him quite well but the audio isn't the best I have ever heard. Howevver it is amazing to hear this great man and his remarkable ideas in any event.

  • @picapauengracado Subtitles ready
