Inside the Mind of Ayn Rand - A new feature film

The new 90-minute documentary feature film probes Rand's core ideas and explores the relevance of her unconventional views on the fundamental issues facing the world today. It's planned for release in theaters in early 2012.

Duncan Scott is the producer/director. "It's really the first major film to examine the full range of her ideas in depth." says Scott "The best way to spread ideas to the general public is through film and television, and we'll be using all the powerful tools of film-- images, words, music pacing, storytelling-- to fully engage the audience. We want them to see, not just the relevance of her ideas, but how essential they are, at a time when freedom is being lost throughout the world."

"Many people understand that she was a champion of free markets and individualism, but the underlying core of her philosophy--the moral aspect in particular-- is still misunderstood by many people--even some of her fans. We think Inside the Mind of Ayn Rand will be a real eye opener--not only about her ideas, but about the fascinating and complex woman behind those ideas".

She had wet dreams in her diaries for a rapist-murdering-dismembering sociopath and used that sociopathy as her example of an ideal human male - she even wrote in a rape scene her hero carried out in her fiction book. Those were verifiable examples of her kookiness and not ad hominem attacks.
