Do you have an intro in your Final Cut Pro timeline that you need to use over and over? Do you want to apply an "effect" to an entire sequence and not just a video track? The solution is to nest your sequence!
Oooh, this old video has saved my life in minute 6:44. Thank you so much, I have been trying to move nested sequences as one with the move tab but everytime I tried to do so, I could only get the nested sequences open and not being able to treat them as a whole bunch to move all together. Now I have tried the selection you explain (option + doubleclick) on that moment in your video and all my headaches are finished, Thank you so much.
I love using nested sequences but they take a lot of processing power and sometimes they slow my computer down to a crawl (like now!). Is there a simple way to unpack the elements in a nested sequence WITHIN the sequence they've been edited into, without cutting and pasting? Thanks a lot and yes, Hawaii is awesome lm_
I am trying to upload a video to youtube, and I can't get rid of the letterboxing from final cut pro when I export it.. I don't care if youtube adds its own bars, but when youtube adds bars to my final cut letterboxing, it looks stupid.. Thanks :)
can this be done in Final Cut Express, i can't find Nest Items.
Is this still possible any other way?
