This is a Solid State version of the Virginia Controller. This controller is a marvelous piece of equipment and has been plugging along for many years.

    In my 30 years of experience I have seen many types of solid state relay switches. A true solid state component emulating the actions of an electromechanical relay will not " click" as there are no moving parts other than the flow of current.
